Best Student Paper Award
FAEE/IAEE is pleased to announce its 2020 Best Student Paper Award in honor of Marcel Boiteux. A top prize of US$1,000 will be given for the best paper in energy economics, while the second best paper will be awarded a US$700 prize. Six runner-up prizes of US$300 each will also be given. All winners will be invited to submit their work to a special issue of "Economics of Energy and Environment Policy" review. They will receive also a waiver of registration fees to the 2020 IAEE International Conference held in Paris, June 21 – 24, 2020. In addition to financial perks, participating in the Best Student Paper competition gives students a chance to receive feedback on their work from a committee of preeminent energy economists.

If the same paper is submitted for the Best Paper Award and the Student Poster Session and selected as a finalist in both sessions, the student must nominate to appear in one competition or the other but not both.
Please note: in order to receive the award, students must attend the conference and present their paper. All travel and accommodation costs associated with attending the conference are the responsibility of the award recipients.
Student shall notify the scientific committee when submitting the abstract of the paper running in the Best Paper competition for presentation in the Concurrent Session program. This can be done within the abstract submission system.

Further note that if you would like to present your paper at the Conference even if it does not receive a Best Paper Award (and thus get presented in a concurrent session), you must follow the regular paper submission procedures, submitting an abstract by January 24, 2020.
